Green Harvard
Every day, students, faculty, and staff recover enough recyclables from Harvard Yard to fill 326 trash bags. Over the course of a year, that amount would fill an Olympic-sized swimming pool four times. The University’s sustainability efforts target a 30 percent reduction in greenhouse gases by 2016.
