ADMINISTRATION

Office of the President and Provost
The Office of the President and Provost supports those two officials in their duties. For more information, see the President’s Office Web site and the Provost’s Office Web site.


Central Administration
The university administrations includes departments under the President, Provost, and Vice Presidents that support university-wide functions.
School administrative offices
The administrative offices at each school offer specialized services to meet the needs of their faculty, students, and staff.

FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT

Harvard Management Company
Harvard Management Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of Harvard University, was founded in 1974 to manage the University’s endowment, pension assets, working capital, and deferred giving accounts.

Financial Administration (FAD)
The FAD web site contains extensive resources to help Harvard administrators plan and manage their department budgets.

Office of the Controller (OC)
The OC, formerly known as the Office of Financial Services, offers information, online forms, and other tools to help Harvard community members perform a variety of transactions.

Purchasing
The Procurement Management Office offers information, online forms, and other tools to help Harvard managers make informed purchases.

Risk Management and Audit Services (RMAS)
RMAS provides a wide range of resources and information to help the University community ensure efficiency and effectiveness of operations, safeguarding of assets, integrity of financial transactions and compliance with policies, laws and regulations.

Grant management
The Office for Sponsored Programs offers information to help departments apply for and manage grant-funded projects at the University.

Travel
The Travel Center provides discount travel bookings as well as guidelines for reporting travel expenses and reimbursements.
